Safe Practices in Patient Care

Medical errors are responsible for injury in as many as 1out of every 25 hospital patients. In response to the need for safer patient care, SurgiCare division of Kendall has developed several new products with innovative safety features. To raise awareness of Kendall’s commitment to patient and worker safety, we developed a serial publication dedicated to helping nurses caring for the critically and chronically ill minimize medical errors by presenting clinically- and evidenced-based safe practices. The publication has received an excellent response from clinicians.
